Mapping Type

This topic will help you learn the mapping type concept.

Type

  • Extract

    Used in a workflow extract phase.

  • Load

    Used in a workflow load phase.

  • Dual

    Used in both extract and load phase.

There is no structural differences between extract, load or dual mapping. It only indicates in which phase it will be used.

Note Note

At least one extract mapping and one load mapping should be created to perform a complete Extract Transform and Load workflow.
